Dóra Hietavirta

Dóra brings a multidisciplinary academic background in economics, environmental studies, education and sustainability to her work at the intersection of ecology, community, learning and systems change. Drawing on both formal studies and practice-based training in permaculture and nature-based education, she explores how school gardens can support wellbeing, ecological understanding and collective responsibility long into the future. Based in Finland, she collaborates with schools, teachers and communities, and serves as the CURIOSOIL Community of Practice lead for Finland.
