Hello soil mates! My name is Elise Matilde Malik. I have a background in museum studies and organic agriculture, and for the last decade I have been based at Vitenparken Campus Ås – a Norwegian science center for food, environment and sustainability just outside of Oslo, Norway. At Vitenparken I do agricultural science dissemination through events and workshops, exhibitions and gardening. We also host a contemporary Bio Art Arena with artists in residence and environmentally oriented art experiences. I am currently doing my PhD on soil literacy, focusing on European soil exhibitions – both agricultural, soil scientific and artistic. Have you visited or made any soil exhibitions lately?
