The hackathon “Digging deep: Innovating soil education through augmented and mixed reality (AR-MR) in a mobile app” invites educators, soil specialists, developers, designers, and technologists to revolutionise the way people learn about soils.

The CURIOSOIL Focus Groups are a series of national online events designed to bring together diverse stakeholders to share their knowledge and expertise about existing guidelines, regulations, and policies related to soil education at primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels.

Multisensorial workshop: seeing, feeling, smelling and hearing soil

The workshop is organised by ISRIC – World Soil Information, a partner in the CURIOSOIL project. The project, co-funded by the European Union and led by the University of Aveiro (Portugal), aims to deepen public comprehension of soil dynamics, establishing a connection between individuals and soil using hands-on experiences.

A 3-day international conference with keynotes, discussion forums, oral talks, workshops and demonstrations + fieldwork: science, technology and business intelligence for measuring monitoring and increasing soil health. We expect around 150 participants.
