The gathering is hosted by GEN Europe, the European Ecovillage Network. It’s Europe’s biggest annual festival in celebration of ecovillages and regenerative communities, where over 800 people come together to learn, share, co-create, celebrate, and experience what it takes to build community.

This year, our Gathering extends an invitation to return to the roots – the places of beginning and becoming. Celebrating 30 years of the Ecovillage movement and 20 years of Gaia education, we will weave together the wisdom of the past with new ways of being, creating spaces where transformation can take root and flourish.

Join us as we tap into the deep connection that lies beneath the surface. Just as roots communicate and nourish entire ecosystems through their networks, this Gathering offers a sanctuary for exchanging knowledge, building resilience, and nurturing the seeds of change.

Here, we’ll explore what it means to be truly radical – to tend our roots while growing toward new possibilities, uprooting the systems which no longer serve us. Drawing inspiration from traditional wisdom and regenerative communities, we’ll discover how deep connection can transform both ourselves, our world and what the power of community can offer.
