CURIOSOIL Celebrates the Launch of the Community of Practice

The CURIOSOIL Community of Practice (CoP) held its inaugural meeting on 6 June, marking an important milestone in the promotion of soil education across Europe. The meeting brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to discuss the objectives of the project, share insights and outline future activities.

CURIOSOIL and LOESS Collaborate to Boost Soil Health Literacy

The CURIOSOIL project has initiated a close collaboration with the LOESS project, a sister project of Mission Soil, by participating in two workshops in May 2024. LOESS and CURIOSOIL are the two mission projects specifically focused on promoting soil literacy across society.

The CURIOSOIL partners meet in Aveiro, Portugal, to launch the project

The first in-person meeting of the CURIOSOIL Project took place in Aveiro, Portugal, in February 2024. The project partners gathered to set the stage for the project's ambitious journey in the coming four years. The University of Aveiro, coordinating project organisation, hosted the meeting in the Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva. The project, co-funded by the European Union within the framework of Mission Soil, aims to revolutionise soil education and address the need for a deeper understanding of soil dynamics amid increasing human pressures.
